The Putnam competition will take place on December 3, 2011.
The Putnam competition consists of a morning session and an
afternoon session, each three hours for six problems.
Students work individually. The competition is nationwide.
Practice sessions for these competitions run weekly in the Math Resource Center.
There is a mailing list for the Putnam Exam
and students need to register in order to
compete.
